Please give me a target price for one with:
100,000 mi?
150,000 mi?
200,000 mi?
I keep hearing of really nice e32 with 120,000mi being bought for $2500 but certainly no more than $4000 by members of this forum, but I have tried offering this for even cars with 200,000 mi in excellent condition and I practically get thrown out of their yards or get nasty emails from the sellers.
Should I really have to pay $5000 for an excellent, but high mileage 5 speed e32 or have I just been talking to rip off artists and thieves?
I mean all these cars ARE over 12 years old (last 5speed brought in in 1990-right?)and the owners should have depreciated them to zero, so almost anything they get is "gravy" but I do understand that they are still worth money.
I looked at auto cars for conversion, and I was quoted $2000 by my shop to convert to 5 speed, so that doesn't seem reasonable to do, either.
