As long as you're asking for all ideas on this, I suggest you look at the BF Goodrich Comp TA's, available in H or V speed. I know a lot of folks blanche at the idea of putting US tires on a BMW, but my experience is that they are superb tires at $60 to $80 apiece installed with lifetime balance at places like BJ's. I used Touring TA's first time around and they were great for comfortable cruising, but the Comp TA's with their stiffer wall really hold cornering and snappy driving. I use H rated because I don't usually drive over 126 mph. Am just tickled pink to be free of European tires and their usual disappointments at $200 a pop, which really don't perform any better, in my opinion. Bob H.
