There are two heater cores that can be changed out for some $20 ea. If you have not changed them before, there is a good chance this will fix the hot air problem. On my 88 750, after i changed out the heater core I still found if I turned off AC and just blow cold outside air, the right side defroster will still get pretty hot. However, if I then hit the AC switch to turn it on, the heat disappear. The AC circuitry probably sends an electric signal to the right side heater core to correct the condition.

I have a 90 750iL . When I turn the AC on some of the vents blow cold AC air while a couple blow very hot air like the heater was on. I suspect some redirection of the air but don't know where to start to look for the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
