they appear to be slightly smaller than the ones on the circuit board. Since the IHKA is back in the car I can't compare the bulbs. They are also 14V and .08 amps. I may just go ahead and buy the dealer bulbs. I'll let you know what shakes out.

The Radio Shack bulbs were 12v with wire leads for soldering to PC board. Let me know how yours do.


the RS here didn't have them. I'm going to a local wholesale house anyway to get bulbs.

I just have been working the same problem on my '92 735. The center fan light was red brown. I replaced all three with clear ones found at Radio Shack but was disappointed - not very bright and other strange heater control reponses started which made be wonder about the current draw.

I've since taken the Radio Shack bulbs out and have ordered two clear and one red from the dealer. All three cost about $6.00. They had to be special ordered - hope to get them next week.
