I'm not the expert here, but on most compressors you can switch out the clutch without switching the whole thing. I did on OEM Bosch. But I'd be sure to check voltage at the clutch before doing anything else.

Ok guys, it is me again!!!, One thing after another, after needing a new driveshaft, do valve adjustment thanks to this site, now!! I have the air conditioned service and my compressor doesnt come on!!!!. where do I start???
The service guy told me, it is fully charged, and he finds no leak (he took out a funny device that looks like an ampmeter), but compressor is not kicking off!!!, I checked fuse 9 and 29 ok, put it on and the auxiliary fan runs ok at low speed but nothing with the compressor!!!!. Any advise before I have to get a new one? how do I check the compressor??
