Richard, Most important is where you are!! Maybe some board members can give you some advice. I know a shop if 9of course) Philly, but you really need a local shop cause shipping charges will kill you otherwise! One very good alternative is to get a rebuilt short or long block (depending on what you want to do) from Bavarian Engine Exchange. The warranty it and arrange to pick up your core.

$6755 and she's good for another 200k!
