Just did my rear brakes....exactly the same as the front only you have to make sure to push the piston ALL the way into the caliper or you will not be able to get the caliper and new pads back over the rotor. Also, in regard to the vibration, just replace the rotors and see what happens. I bought a set of 2 from zygmunts for $85. They are supposedly to be changed every time the front pads are.


Hello everybody:

the car (1990 735 il)will be coming home next week. Last, but not least on my to do list, are the brakes (front and rear)

I also have a good write-up for the front brakes with pictures (credit to Gale). I would appreciate if someone could send me some info on doing the rear brakes. I intend to do it myself.

Second question, what are the measurements the rotors should read if I need to get 'em turned. There is a little pulsing feeling when you hit the brakes on the steering now. Front suspension recently replaced. So I know it could not be the suspension.
