I have a keyless remote alarm system that is only partially working, that came with the car. I don't know who the manufacturer is. Does your Alpine remote have two buttons on it, with a red LED pilot light inside that blinks when you get in the car?//Bill '88 735i

I am not an expert on this but I also have an Alpine security system that doesn't work at all. The only thing I can tell you is that the brain should be under the steering wheel in the compartment there. Hope that helps. Let me know what the problem was if you get it fixed. See ya,
