The feller who visited us had actually welded his spring holder in the struts several inches higher and then CUT THE SPRINGS (lame) to lower the car back.

I seem to recall he had to have something cut off the arches but not all that much.

The car really divided people's opinions; most seemed to think it looked ridiculous and even at my opinion it looked "too much" for the car, making it look like a high-rider :-) Monster Bimmer :-)

Well, it IS one truly unique e32 anyway. As soon as he replaces the cut springs with a eibach or h&r lowering springs, he might have a well handling car as well.
