If anyone is interested in purchasing their own R-12 or R-134a freon you can do so by completing the EPA's certification on-line for $15 and then have the ability to legally purchase R-12. To legally purchase, distribute, or service AC systems this certification is manditory. One cool fact is that you can goto ebay and purchase r-12 with the cerification.
