new o2's but still get check engine. (archive)

i had new o2's plugs wires caps & rotors & vcv's put in 2 weeks ago.
the check engine has been reset several times but comes back on amd the diagnostic reads o2. it mostly comes on when idling and goes off when driving. THE CAR STILL DOESN'T HAVE THE POWER IT SHOULD AND ON COLD STARTS IT RUNS THE IDLE FROM 400 TO 1400 back and forth for a couple of minutes. then it smooths out but runs rough until warm. my friend thinks he hears an exhaust leak when climbing hills.
i checked th maf's but the mechanic says he wants to check
them and the dk's.
