Pat: Wow... sorry to hear about you, AND the deer... any way, the mirrors are extremely complex and expensive-- something like 450. apiece, new, so also expensive from wrecking yards. They have at least 10 wire connectors on each side for up, down, back, forth, heating defoggers, and the adjusters that are supposed to point them down when you back up. Not sure whether the temp sensor that turns the defroster on and off is internal or external, but it's complicated nevertheless. They are easy to remove... about 5 minutes, if you have the Bentley... just one multi- contact connector. you might be better off to take it to a body shop to have it repaired, which is what my friend did when hers was broken. does anyone know where i can get a mirror (black).
pass. side. the housing is cracked and the mirror is broken but i think it's ok besides that.
