This may not be what you want to hear but here it goes. The sliding in the rear is usually the rear subframe bushings. Usually $500+ to get replaced at an independent shop. As far as scrubbing, the bushings may have something to do with it. I have 17x8.5 wheels all around and I have no scrubbing. I'm running 235/45/17 tires.

Have just put 17" Schnitzer Alloys with low profiles, however i think one wheel might be touching the outer wheel Arch.....would adjusting the Camber do the trick??...also now sometimes it feels as if the car is sliding a bit from behind.....does the Suspension etc also need adjusting.....or is it just the low profiles giving me too much feed back? would i need to re-do the whole of the cars geometry?
