there is a blue wire (a.k.a remote wire) from your head unit. This should be connected to the remote screw part on your amp. What the blue wire does is send signal to the amp when the head unit is on.

I have one blue wire connected to my two four channels amp on my car. Everything works fine. Except a little bit of rattling when there is too much bass.

Make sure that the blue wire from the head unit is screwed to the remore part on the amp.
