Thanks Eman, I'm going to the BMW dealer to have them check everything you suggested. since I a new bimmer owner I will take your word on this issue. I bought the car for 11,500 in showroom condition so I don't mind spending some money to insure realiability. Thanks again. PS. anthing else!!!
When I bought my 740i (73K miles), I had to change the sway bar links ($50/pair), brake rotors (cross drilled)front $170/pair and rear $150/pair, brake pads ($40) Performance friction carbon metallic. I still need to change the tie rods and upper control arms. For the engine I changed the spark plugs to Bosch Platinum +4s and put Mobil 1 oil. My shocks were fine. Check your valve cover gaskets for any oil leaks.
