It's likely your intake manifold gaskets. They're a betch to replace (or seal and reuse) and if you feel froggy and are willing to buy a 1/4" drive 10mm swivel socket w/ magnet. There are instructions and photos over on the E31 (850) board. I have a set of instructions saved if you can't find them. I've done it a few times. The gaskets are a bit pricey (surprise! surprise!) some seal the old gaskets w/hylomar hi temp sealer, That's what I will do next time. email me if you need further info.
