my water pump is leaking also, well not mine but the car's, just thought i'd clear that up.. anyway, the pump is leaking from the gasket it and although the fan turns, there is a small hissing sound that my neighbor discovered by puting a hose right by the pump to his hear to isolate the sound. seems i could just put a seal and the leak is solved but the bearings are going to i just bought a new one from Kragen of all places. to make the long story short, the water pump was heading in the direction where your's is.
