: I started my 94 525 and the last green light its gone, and turned to yellow and a inspection sign appeard, my dealer wants 395.00 for the inspection service. Is this a fair price? Do I just need a oil change or a Inspection I I bought
: the car with 45500, now has 55200. Does all dealers resets the service indicators even with the oil change or only with the inspection? My dealers says Not with the oil change.

: If the car has been driven fast and high rev's, you will have to go for an inspection I, if that is not the case, chances are you're going for an inspection II.
Prices for an inspection I is about 330$
Prices for an inspection II are about the double.

If the service interval says inspection, you're car is in need for an inspcetion.

The service indicator is reset at every oilservice or inspection so that you restart with 5 (five) green blocks on the display. After an inspection follows an oilservice and so on...

Read the manual or search a little harder on the net and on this board, sure you will find more data on thius subject.
