The definition of "as good as it gets with BMW original parts" is the brakes from the 1995, Euro E34, M5.
They are:
345x32mm aluminum hat, directional, floating front rotor w/4 piston calipers.
328x20mm rear rotor w/40mm caliper piston.
Definitely more expensive than the E32, 750 brakes but for maximum performance they are the awesome BMW brakes.
Other than the need to install a larger rear backing plate/dust shields they are a direct bolt on!!
