: : : Just finished the install on the Pioneer CDX-M30, I want to THANK-YOU for the install tips you gave me earlier. The thing sounds like a concert hall, I'm glad I didn't wait to get one, your advise on the installation was right on the money. I really enjoyed the part about "open beer", BTW it took three. Thanks again bud, Jr. disc spinner.
: : Congrats! So where did u end up mounting the changer, and where was your constant hot power located in YOUR car? Makes a BIG difference doesn't it, like buying a new car....almost!
: : The new changer is mounted under the parcel tray on the drivers side. Finding a constant hot was the trick, there was a wire for the trunk lights so I connected before the switch located on the trunk lid latch. Presto chango ... when I was searching the rear seat area I found a blown 30 amp fuse for the rear window defogger, didn't you have the same trouble a few weeks ago? It was just a little melted looking. Wonder if I'll be able to hear later in life? Huhh, what'd you say?
Good idea, i didn't even think of the trunk light ckt when i did mine.
Why they put the r.window defrost fuse under the seat is still a mystery...mine is still working, fingers crossed.
