Need tire advice for 535i (archive)

Now that Spring is around the corner, I want to put on new tires for the summer. Tire Rack suggested either BFG CompT/A ZR or Yokohama AVS Intermediate in the 225/60-15 series that would be within my price range. Has anybody had experience with either of these, or another tire of sim. performance and price? I've had good success with the 1st generation Comps in the past, but know very little about the Yokos other than what I was told by the folks at Tire Rack. There suggestion was for the Yokos; better dry performance but not as good in the wet as the Comps. My intention is for street use and a few track school sessions.
