It is indeed kind-off a small world!!!

I just went through EXACTLY the same process. I also considered the T/A, and the Yokohama, but there is a third tire that I think is the best for this size: Firestone 225/60ZR15 SZ50.

I have been reviewing thses choises for 6 months (on and off) and I just ordered my tires this last Friday. The tires should be here in a week, and by next weekend I should have them on my 535i.

Based on my research, they work VERY well, they have great grip, and respectable wet performance. They are not too noisy, and will last on average (for ZR tires). The Tire Rack price is $106. which is on line (or cheaper) that the other choises. NTB ordered them for me for $112/ea, which is not bad becuase of adding S/H costs.

Let me know what you end up buying.
