There were enough 530i models sold in the US that it shouldn't be too hard to find a manual transmission for one.

I drove a 525iT over the weekend. It was a nice car (with automatic transmission). Maybe I'll just resign myself to driving the slushbox, and save shifting time for when I'm in my M3!

I don't know whether a 535i transmission will bolt up to a 3.0L V8. I would guess not.
