just spent A LOT of $ on E34 front end! (archive)

I just spent over $2,000 on my 1992 E34 535i's front end!
It started as just replacing my brakes (rotors and pads).
Found a front strut leaking and the bad front upper bushing and then ball joints!
Bavarian Auto was great! They sell a complete control are asembly that includes ball joint, thrust arm, and there upper bushing all for about $145 per side. Dealler wants $200 just for Arm and bushing!

Well, it was all worth it! What a difference.
