For some reason the alternator is working fine now. The batter light works properly.. thank god. All they (the repair shop) did was take the exciter wire (thats what they called it), a blue thin wire, and rebolted it to the back of the alternator. Very Interesting to say the least. I found out why the dang idle valve would stay on after the car was shut off. Apparently, the mototronic relay had died. Thank god it was only $19!
