I also have a 95 540i that I did some research into possible getting a Jim Conforti chip, "sharked" as they say. I think there are only 2 Jim C vendors, Eurosport in Nevada and Turner Motorsport in Mass. and I think only Eurosport has the 95 chip. You can send them the entire DME and they will replace the chip and send you back the upgraded DME. They advertise in all BMW mags and if you check the E34 archieves you will see reference to Eurosport in chip threads. My problem is I need help getting to the point you are at which is getting the DME module out. I need instruction on how to get the DME out of the bracket. Any help is appreciated.
