More than likely, the retaining nut that holds the wiper onto the spline has loosened.

Take a look at the base of your wiper arm. There's a little flap that will flip up to reveal a nut on a stud. Be careful when tightening as you don't want to snap off the spindle from the
mechanism for the ww wiper. Flip the cap back down and there you go!
