I will take it to another shop and have them check it. I was looking at the wiring diagram in the Bentley Manual and it looks like there could be many possibilities for the electrical failure. I agree about the system being "tired" as a sales hook. When the compressor was jumped the air in the car got cold pretty quick. Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks for the response!
