Make sure that shop which is balancing your tires has good equipment. Most of them balance at low speed (and low precision) Try to find a place where they do hi speed ballance or in-car ballance and see it this helps before you start replacing expensive suspension components.
: I recently had my tires balanced and upper control arm bushings replaced to fix a vibration at speed (50-60 mph) with my 90 535iA (88,000 miles). While things are dramatically improved, there is still a vibration which feels just like tire balance (yes, I had them balanced again). What should I try next? How can you tell when the shocks need to be replaced?
