Per problem with steering column ignition switch: It occurs to me that this is not an isolated problem -- and may have a simple solution (such as suggested by P. Baril on April 1st. How can I be certain that BMW dealer is not taking qucik and easy ($500) way out with this? Is there a regional BMW representative who I could contact? (I always feel uneasy going to a BMW dealer for "service." I have been stung before on a "defective" drive shaft and since then just don't have the trust.) Thanks. Dennis
