: Hi Frank ,

: I am told they do not offer the warranty to the cars assembled here in Thailand.

You're kidding! Didn't they at least point you in the direction of an after market warranty?

I know the Hummers I get for export have no warranty but I always tell customers that should be able to get an aftermarket warranty. I should mention I have to actually sell one of these things but I have had a lot of inquiries.

There's got to be a way to get a warrarnty there. Or should have.

Ben

P.S. I've got frustrating cheap story for you. Guess what happened to my '93 525i Touring last week? The engine block heater blew out a mile from the dealer I go to in Wisconsin (good dealer). The dealer in Virginia a couple years ago replaced the original block heater (installed by good dealer btw) saying it was the `wrong one. Good dealer told me that bad dealer over torqued the replacement--cost me over $250 to have a frost plug installed and two days of rental (included in $250). Cheap but I still want to scream! Want a beat up M50 engine with a frost plug? =)
