I'm guessing you have an older E-28 that came with the dreaded 390mm rims. Best long term thing to due is buy 4 15"rims and tires to change that car to a more manageable set-up.
14" tires are still around but the tire people are starting to limit you on good choices compared to the more common[now] 15" tires that are even considered "small" by manufactors.

Many stock BMWs are going with 16" as standard so the older 14" stuff is not moving off the shelves like it used to in the '80s.
Using 15" rims helps keep your options more open to tire compound choices.

390mm rims are not 14" or 15" compatible. Nice of Michelin & BMW to agree to sell those TRX tires years ago.
