After having a good look at the suspension componets of my car, I noticed the thrust arm bushings are the solid rubber type with no insert in the bushing. Could these be original bushings and would they cause any vibration or shimmy without using the brakes? I don't have any under braking, but there is a slight shimmy about 40-58 mph. The left tie-rod end had play so I replaced it and that helped alot. The tires and wheels have been balanced. The car has about 117000 miles and I doubt the struts have ever been replaced. What kind of recommendations do you have for a bmw with this kind of miles? Thanks for your input. Jr 89 535iA 117000
