I have the same problem in M5, I found it to be a fuse that keeps blowing in the box underneath the back seat. The fuse is a 10 amp I think, but I had to put in a 30 amp just to get it to stop, it occasionally will still blow. When it happens, The whole passengers side won't work, and the trunk won't lock either. No cause found, but it only happens occasionally now. hope this will help.

: My 1990 525i doorlocks are acting up. When i lock them for the first time, they pop back up. After a second time, without trying to "double" lock the doors the lock. ANy attempt to "double" lock results in the locks popping back up.
: In addition I can unlock but not lock the doors from the trunk. This is definately not a synchronization problem. Anyone have any info on what's going on?
