The best method is to use a vinegar based cleaner because the ammonia in blue windex can cause a haze on the tint. I've always used the vinegar based stuff and have had no problems. Used to be able to get green Windex but it's pretty scarce nowadays.

Use a soft cloth since the film can be scratched, paper towels and newspaper are not the best for the film.
