Upgrading E34 Suspension (archive)

One reason I put my '90 E34 up for sale is that it does not handle as well as my 533i did. Of course the E28 had Bilsteins and the E34 has fairly new stock shocks in front and worn o.e. shocks in back. I don't get any road feel through the steering or suspension. I've been driving a 7-series Volvo with Bilsteins and rack and pinion steering since I sold the E28. Just had the 750il bushings put in the E34. The tires are cheap Pirelli P2000 super touring.

Any suggestions in case the car doesn't sell and I come into some money? I have been thinking 328i sedan or E30 M3 if I sell the car.
