For everyday driving use the S 3 gear selection instead of the E D (economy). I have noticed a difference of night and day. Quite the pickup and handy for zipping away from stop lights. Friends say that my 525 feels quite fast to them when using this gear selection. No I'm not going to beat 5.0 Mustangs, but I would rather drive my 525 over any old mustang any day and still remain a sane driver out there. Try it for awhile and you won't use the E D drive gear anymore.

P.S. My dealer said that it's fine if I want to use this gear selection without any damage or premature engin wear. Just don't abuse the car in general and it should serve you well.
