Scwhing on Keswick is a well meaning dealership, but I find their service sub-par. Most annoying is their consistant tendancy to deny you have a problem (the "they all do that" or "that can't happen" syndrome). On the plus side, they're conveniently located (for me) in town and they give loaners. In summmary, they do not inspire confidence, unlike P&W in Pittsburgh (my other home) where I take the car whenever I can.
As to Brooks, I took the car there for one inspection. No loaner (they have rentals on site, though) and they neglected to adjust the parking brake. Never been back.
Schwing in Owings Mills is a completely different outfit than the one on Keswick -- different management, owner, etc. Never had my car serviced there, but talked to the service manager who said they don't provide loaners unless it's a "big job."
Never been to Russel.

: I am a new owner of a 95 540i 6spd with the original block. I live in the Baltimore area and will soon take the car in to have the engine test run.
: Does anyone have experience with the test or a block replacement at one of the local dealers?? I am thinking of Schwing, Brooks, and Russel.
