Seems like you saved yourself about $300 (although I guess you're not counting the price of the tools you need). How many hours did it take? I wonder if it really pays.

: Spark plugs - 8 X $3
: Mobil 1 Oil - 8 X $4
: Oil Filter - $10
: Coolant - 1 X $15(I think)
: TM Fluid - 5 X $1.50..DOES NOT REQUIRE SYNTHETIC!!
: TM Filter/Gasket - $38
: Mobil 1 Syn Hypoid Oil rear diff. - 2 X $7(I think)
: K&N Filter cleaned, recharged
: Brakes inspected. Need front/rear rotors at next brake service... Order 540 pads/Rotors from fellow E34 board reader. Ordering E32 Calipers per E34 Message board sugg.(SPENDING THE $500 I SAVED TO DO BRAKE UPGRADE)
: Front end Aligned $90.
: Brake fluid Flushed. - $80 ...I unfortunately paid a reputable shop to do this. I thought that due to ABS it would be tricky. It wasn't! they did it just like I used to do on my Old Chevy.Started car,used a bulb suction device to remove old fluid.Poured in new fluid.had assistant pump while Mech. went to each wheel and let fluid run till it can out clean.Topped off Reservoir
: Microfilter - $35...Changed per link on E34 "Home page"
: Installing new 17 X 8 "M5" replica wheels w/ SP8000 235x45x17 tires.
