ATE Power discs are cheese graters. They're fine for "spirited" driving, but I never noticed much difference over stock. They're actually cheaper than stock rotors too, so casual drivers may find them useful replacements. But they didn't last as long as stock in my experience.

Metal Masters are good pads for spirited street driving too. Don't race with them though, cuz they'll melt. They're okay for AX though. They will actually bite better than stock pads initially, but require more foot/pedal modulation to achieve the strength of stock stopping power. I actually prefer the Metal Masters because I can control them better. But if you don't like to squeeze deeper in panic stops, then these aren't for you. Dust reduction is over-rated though. The dust is just a different color (light-gray vs. stock black).
