At least part of your question regarding the need to modify the E32 busing can be answered at www.koalamotorsport.com/thrustrod.bushings.html

: Okay, it's time for a new set of thrust arm bushings and tie-rods. I've read from prev. postings that 750iL E32 bushings are better than the E34 stock.
: Some Ques!
: 1. How? Are they made from a different material to be more durable or stiffer?
: 2. Do i need to do any modification on the part to make it fit into a E34?
: 3. How's factory 750iL bushings compare to the Bavarian Auto upper-control( thrust) arm bushings?

: Another question is that my mechanic wants to replace the whole thrust arm assembly- i guess because the bushings come with the control arm from factory? Or can he just replace the bushings only?

: Any comments advises are appreciated
