Time to Replace Thrust Arm Bushings, Need Help! (archive)

Alright, everyone by now knows about the $#%#%#% infamous shimmy caused by the thrust arm bushings wearing thin.

I sorta ignored my shimmy for the last year and now I have noticed it getting worse.

Is there anyone in the Atlanta area that can recommend a local shop to replace these with the aftermarket or 7 Series bushings? My local BMW dealer will only put on the stock replacement E34 bushings. Since I plan on keeping the auto until 300K at least (I'm at 155K right now......)

Thanks in advance!!
