Hi johan,
there are two different clusters available. The socalled earlier system and the redesign system. Both have the same connectors. But the place, where they store the kilometers is different. The earlier system stores it in the brown connector (there is the codechip) . The redesign stores it in the cluster (where the codechip is placed. You stock one is a earlier system (89er). And if your new cluster is a redesign, it will work because the connectors are the same, but the new one will show the kilometers of the car, you got it from. If your new cluster is also 88 until 90, it will show exact that kilometers, your car has run.
