: The brakes on my 94 540i squeek when I am at very slow speeds. Just as I'm about to stop, with very light brake pedal pressure. What could be the problem. New brakes (second set, first set were really bad) New rotors as well.

: Brakes work great, but the squeek is driving me nuts.

: Any suggestions!!

Get a package of brake paste from the dealer. Remove the pads (they're stock, aren't they?) and coat the BACK of the pads with the paste. Let the paste 'set' a little before reinstalling the pads back in the caliper. Maybe 4-5 minutes.

While you are waiting, thouroughly clean the channels/grooves on the caliper where the ends of the pads slide on the caliper.
