: I'm about to replace my front and rear disc brake pads with Repco Deluxe on my 89 535i (95K). Should I necessarily replace the rotors while I'm at it; if they're in good shape and within tolerance? Also, if enough rotor material remains, could they simply be turned? I'll be using Repco Deluxe. TIA.

Mail order companies in Roundel or Bimmer magazine are very reasonable. I'm putting new rotors and pads on mine in a couple of weeks. I think it was in Roundel that I read that BMW recommends changing rotors each time you do the pads. Before I knew this, I had the rears turned and they squeak now. My '02 cents.
