: I'm about to replace my front and rear disc brake pads with Repco Deluxe on my 89 535i (95K). Should I necessarily replace the rotors while I'm at it; if they're in good shape and within tolerance? Also, if enough rotor material remains, could they simply be turned? I'll be using Repco Deluxe. TIA.

Thanks for all your comments. Bavarian Autosport had Ate brand rotors (supposedly one of BMW's OEMs) for less than $50 a piece - so for the piece of mind I ordered them along with new brake sensor wires and hold down bolts.
