: Sure, I have a 94 530iT and although I am the 2nd owner,I believe it had the original chip in it still. Are there numbers on it that I can verify for you?? Went to the "Prom" with Jim Comforti and forever lost my "virginity". Make me an offer I cant refuse

: : Did any of you owners of a 530ia switch out their eproms for an aftermarket one prior to the sulphur problem eprom recall, where BMW changed eproms and did you keep the old chip? I had the short block replacement and am interested in getting my 1994 530ia back to the original specs, with the 85 degree C thermostat and the original (pre-sulphur) eprom. Have already located the thermostat. Thanks.
