In the October issue of Car & Driver, they do side by side comparisons of Autothority, Dinan and stock performance on a dyno. They tested a '99 M3 Coupe and a '99 328i. Guess what? NOT ONE HORSEPOWER GAIN. NOT ONE. Torque? SORRY. NO TORQUE GAIN EITHER. They interview Steve Dinan, and his excuse is "I'm not surprised, since the gains are on the road, not on the dyno". I wish they'd asked him "So, how come your ads boast from 15 to 46 HP gain?".
