: LOL Not shy myself, the car has already been properly "broken in", but this problem really happened like I said. Hehe. Although younger, possibly. Today is my 23rd birthday. I feel like I'm going on 46 though, with our first (5 week old) baby around. Besides, I needed a good reason to buy a 4 door car. I just took my best friend's advice though (that drives an M Roadster), "Once you go Bimmer, you never go back." Amen. :)

: ps-- thanks, I'll check the archives too, mysterious stranger.

: : Sure,
: : Lots of us have had that same problem. Albeit when we were a lot younger than you are now perhaps.
: : So lets see, you were in the passenger seat, fully reclined, and your girl friend was "doing the driving" eh.......hmmmmmmmmmmm
: : At-a-boy Alister. You ole sly dog... wink, wink, nudge, nudge.I see you still got some life in it, er, you. Dont tell me, let me guess, you told her this would help her learn the shift pattern.(laughing uncontrollably)
: : Seriously , check the archives. It requires a similar fix to that of repairing the headrests.
: : Good Luck. ( Red as a beet aint he boys :-)No hard feelings eh?

: : : Once again, I'm just trying to make it more than 2 weeks without a strange problem on my new (to me) 92 525i. :-) Anyways, I went on a trip yesterday so I hopped in the passenger side for the first time and let my girl drive while I reclined the seat and took a nap for a while. Problem is, now the seat won't come back up! Called and made an appointment at the service center for late this week, but he suggested it is probably just a loose cable (came undone). Anyone ever had this annoyance? Riding around with the seat relaxed looks mighty strange. Hehe. TIA
