Search the archives under "fan resistor" and "sword." If your car is newer, it has the cheaper fan resistor pack (located behind knee bolster in driver-side footwell). I htink it's under $20 at the dealer. If your car is older, it will have a sword assembly located behind the HVAC unit behind your dashboard and radio. When I say "behind," I mean behind from the perspective of sitting in your seat (the part is actually toward the FRONT of your car.) Anyway, you can access the sword by removing your glovebox and a few panels in the passenger-side footwell. Takes about an hour to get to it, but you probably won't be able to fix it yourself. Costs around $150 new and maybe $90 refurbished from a company called Programma. One fellow on this message board did repair his sword, so maybe you could contact him.
